Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for Fresh Admission and Re-Registration.
Previously date for Re-Registration and New Admission was 28th February. But in the latest notification this date has been extended up to 15th March 2021.
Students who are willing to take admission in IGNOU should do it before 15th January 2021. Same goes for the students who are registered in Semester/Year wise programs whose re-registration is pending.
What is Re-Registration
Re-registration means to enroll in an existing program in the next year or next semester. Re-Registration facility is available only for those candidates who have been enrolled for 1 year or longer duration program by taking Admission in IGNOU. There is no extra criteria to enroll for next year or semester because you have already been admitted in the same course/program. Even if you do not attend an exam, you can still submit an application for re-registration. You will be enrolled for the next semester / year, simply by paying the annual or semesterual fee for your program.

Important note: Once you have made the payment you will get the Form Preview option. Save/Print your form for future reference. Confirmation e-mail will also be sent to you at your registered e-mail address and also by SMS. Once you have completed your Re registration, we advise all the students that you should check your registration status after you have logged in with the correct information. If you have not received confirmation, please contact IGNOU Helpline Number as soon as possible.
