In view of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Govt. of India letter, dated 6 July 2020 and the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, dated 29 April 2020. the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will conduct the Term-end Examination(TEE), June 2020 from 1st week of September 2020 for the final year/final semester students of Masters Degree. Bachelor’s Degree, Post-graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes subject to fulfilling the University norms on admission year and registration validity.
Accordingly, only those students of Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma/Diploma and Certificate Programmes who have registered for the final year/semester of their Programme, were eligible to appear in TEE, June 2020 and have submitted the Examination Form (for TEE, June 2020) are eligible to appear in the TEE to be conducted in September 2020. Details of eligibility of such students are given in the table below.

The last date of filling the Examination Form for the TEE to be held from 1st week of September 2020 will be 31st July 2020 only for students of the above categories.
The information for practical examinations (wherever applicable) shall be
communicated separately by the concerned Regional Centres.
The Term End Examination for the students of the intermediate year / semester of the Masters. Bachelors and PG Diploma/ Diploma Programmes, scheduled in June 2020 has been postponed and will be held in December 2020.
The students who will not be able to appear in the TEE to be held in Sept 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic will be given an opportunity to appear in the TEE to be held in December 2020. For this purpose, the validity period of registration of those students whose registration ended in June 2020 will be extended till December 2020.
The Examination Fee submitted along with the Examination Form by the students who are in intermediate programme or can’t attend September 2020 exams, will be adjusted at the time of filling of the Examination Form by them for TEE, December 2020.

Ans. No you can’t. Exams scheduled in September 2020 are only for the students who are in final year or final semester so that they can complete their degree or certificate or diploma on time.
Ans. No, it is not. You can give exams in December 2020 TEE. But you should note that your completion period will be extended.
Ans. You can take exams latest by December 2020 TEE.
Ans. No, there is no refund. Your fee paid will be adjusted when you fill the examination form for December 2020 TEE.
Ans. Yes, you can take exams for backs (re-appears) in September 2020, if you have filled it in the exam form.
Ans. No, you cannot take exams in September 2020. You can only take exams in or after December 2020 TEE. You can take exams for both 5th and 6th semester in December 2020 TEE if you have registered for the 6th Semester.
Above 1st Year / 2nd Year answers are same for students who have semester system but are not in final semester.
