IGNOU SC/ST Students Will Get Free Admission From Now On

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited application for 2018 admission in UG (Under Graduate) courses and special thing is that it’s without any fees. Recently IGNOU rolled out a notification regarding the admission process for UG courses for the year 2018. As per the notification, their have been criteria by which candidates can enroll for free for UG Admission in IGNOU.

Important dates for IGNOU Admission 2018 & more details

One of the largest Open University in India, IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) opened the registration/admission process for the admission in UG courses on last week of May 2018. After which the University receives a huge number of applications from the candidates for the UG and PG courses. For those who have early registered themselves can directly login and apply for the desired course in IGNOU 2018. Whereas the new candidates have to register themselves first and then fill up the admission for the desired UG Course in IGNOU.
As far as the last date for the admission process in IGNOU is concerned, for all UG & PG Courses, the date is 15th July 2018. Whereas for all Diploma and Certificate courses, candidates must apply before 30th June 2018.

IGNOU Admission 2018: No Admission fee for SC/ST Candidates

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been making the admission free for the SC/ST Candidates from 2018 onwards. Students belonging to the SC/ST can apply for B.A, B.Com and other 5 certificate courses along with 2 PG diploma Course without paying any application fee. Although admission fee by IGNOU will be taken for all the Post Graduate courses for the year 2018.
Earlier, IGNOU used to impose registration fee of Rs. 200 for the prospectus and application form for SC/ST candidates as well. But from 2018 onwards, SC/ST candidates can apply for UG/PG Courses without paying any registration/admission fee at IGNOU.
